There were things I didn’t like about Golden Palace. But dare I say I thought it was more LOL funny and edgier than GG. I also liked how Sophia often got her come-uppance on GP. On GG, she started off as a blunt yet likeable old person, then seemingly morphed into somebody who was trying to disrupt everything. CBS had put GP on its schedule for a second season, but scrapped it at the last minute.

I forgot to reply. I have seen I think one episode of Golden Palace. GG was on for seven years (or thirty with syndication). That seemed like plenty! GP was overkill.

The thing is most of my ‘porn’ material doesn’t come from gay porn. I’m one of those cursed gays that normally don’t find other gays sexually attractive. I watch nude scenes in films / the very few sexy men in current straight porn / hunks on Internet either on YouTube/Insta or that do private videos. Gay porn for me is only about the bottoms because there just aren’t convincing tops for me. Also the contrasting pairing
thingy. So BHH & RB are one of the few gay pornsites I actually watch.

I enjoy some of the scenes for a number of reasons. Firstly many of the models are not found in scenes produced elsewhere, although several have been in productions from other studios. Secondly, the action is less “produced” than elsewhere. There isn’t a lot of stitching together little clips to pretend something hot was happening, as has been said about olde Sean Cody scenes where hetero-dicks were limp and needed fluffing in stop-start action. Thirdly, it is pretty clear that the models just like sex. And there is a little roughness around the edges in the scene production.

I only purchase scene credits to download scenes I want to see, which is definitely not all of them. If the scene focuses on a model who has scenes elsewhere, I won’t buy. And early scenes recorded in the motel room are quite bad quality. This current scene looks like it might be one of them. You really have to fiddle with brightness and contrast on your device to see the action in the older scenes, which makes them not worth spending credits. And the scenes are not released in the order when they were made. This might be an olde one.

I don’t pay much attention to the old bastard (who is also in BHWH scenes).

Have you ever seen Golden Palace? I had a friend that recorded the whole run when they were on Lifetime I think (with Empty Nest) so I was able to trade with him for copies of it. I don’t think they aired them very often. Might have been another channel, I can’t remember.

Yes, I hadn’t forgotten that we discussed the site before. And that counts, but your view of Clay more as an ogre than as an attractive man. And as to “why do I think” it’s here; you hit the nail on the head. I enjoy coming here more than any other blog, but there are plenty of companies that don’t get featured here that would be better received than some of the ones that are, including the grim spectacle Corbin Fisher has become. I’m guessing this is at least partly a payola situation rather than a list of one person’s favorite sites. I don’t begrudge WB that — who would have time to do this every day if they weren’t being supported?

For me whenever I watch a porn scene I only watch for one guy. I put myself mentally in place of the other guy. In straight porn it’s easy because it’s a guy and a girl. You imagine yourself as the girl if you’re attracted to men or as the guy if you’re attracted to women. In gay porn it’s harder because it’s two people of the same gender. Therefore I watch the scene for whoever I find more attractive imagining myself as the other guy.

I like porn where you can imagine yourself having sex. I cannot do that with most sites where they pair two similar looking models. Sites like this where one of the guy does nothing for you allow me to place myself in his place with the other guy being the object of desire. It’s not because I’m a heavy middle aged guy like Clay or Jake Cruise or Daddy Mugs.
