Wow. Thank you for that. You’re saying things people have said to me for years, but for various reasons, I’ve yet to take to heart. I grew up in an environment where perfection was encouraged, failure was frowned upon, image was everything and secrecy was rewarded. I had a voice but was discouraged from using it. My writing helped me with that. My current job helped as well. Bet as self-assured and confident as I am now, there’s still a little boy inside me who is guarded and scared of disappointment, failure and rejection. A boy who still wants to people please. I know the personalities I’ve had to deal with online, and I know the personalities I’ve had to deal with at my day job. I’m not sure I’m at a place in my life where I’m ready for those worlds to collide. When I write things here or elsewhere, it’s like stepping into my alter-ego. It’s my drag. Something fun I do to share my thoughts and feelings with others. When I’ve finally arrived at a place where I can say with all sincerity that I give zero fucks about sacrificing my happiness for others, and that I no longer allow someone else’s perception of me to determine how I view myself, then I’ll know those separate worlds won’t be needed. I’m not at that point yet, but I’m closer than I’ve ever been.

And just so you know, I respect your opinions too. Even when you’re verbally scalping a poor unsuspecting person or model and I’m clutching my pearls in horror, I’m usually chuckling while clutching.

LOL!! I am a terrible bastard at times, you do a good job letting me know when it’s misdirected and I am always pretty sure you get me. I got my intuition, command of the English language, sarcasm and sharp tongue from my Mother. My business acumen, big balls and big dick from my Father, and my “give zero fucks” – forged climbing over bodies to get where I am.

I get it, more than you know. I really do hope you get to that place soon. I wasn’t kidding, there may be other bloggers, but you have something unique and it could make you independent on a whole different level. Till then, I will continue to watch, and scare bitches.
