Wednesday morning was a good day for me (and gays, Hispanics, Blacks, women, Muslims, SANITY, etc. I did not dare to allow myself to even be hopeful on Tuesday after what I went through emotionally when the final nail went into HIllary’s coffin and PA went to Trump. I stayed NUMB all day on Tuesday. But, I’m willing to now hope that there is now hope that enough Americans have learned some important lessons and VOTE BLUE! We have all gotten a sneak preview of how it happened in Hitler’s Germany; one day Germany was one way, and then Germans woke up one morning and it was not that way. Same here.

Yes!! Last I checked, Team Blue had a net of like 30 pickups, with a bunch of races still outstanding, most of them look like they’re gonna flip to Dem. I live in Michigan 08 and we got Elissa Slotkin, breaking up 18 years of republican rule. That’s even after the GOP gerrymandered the hell out of the district and used voter suppression and dirty tricks and everything. It was one of the “races to watch”. YOUNG voter turnout was the key here. When I went to vote, I was pleasantly surprised by all the young people voting. I’m used to seeing old (read: republican leaning). Hayley Stevens also captured a long-held GOP seat a little south of here.

The senate was a bit “meh”, but I’m not giving up on Bill Nelson or Krysten Sinema. They’re down but not out. If by some chance they both win, we would only have a net of one loss. Not too bad considering.

We’re also saying goodbye to Rick Snyder, one of the least popular governors in the country, thanks to his mishandling of the Flint water crisis. And Hello Gretchen Whitmer!

A popular gay website, that sometimes reviews updates, wrote last week that SeanCody had solved their video quality issues and it was back to how it once was. They were reticent to promise it would remain that way BUT they wrote that it seems they can do it now, if they want to.
