Ryan has never been on my radar, not even at SC. I can’t even tell you why, I was just never attracted to him. As for the rest I can’t really even make a contribution as I haven’t been a member there since forever, but having NEVER seen a man of color there I would say you nailed it.

As incredible as the current age of porn is, something like the sensation created by The Black Spark shows that porn has become a scorched imagination desert. Who besides Men at Play and Mormonboyz even gives any thought to what the men are wearing before they fuck? Most of us, every single day, see someone on the street who is not naked but who sends our imaginations racing with a bulge or a peek of chest hair — or god forbid a cruisy stare that turns into a nod of approval but nothing else except the fantasy of what might have been. History lesson. I’m not THAT old, and much of what I was into was before my time. But before the Internet had graphics, it was useless for porn research. The only way to score good porn was trial and error, and a porn “movie,” 90 minutes long typically, cost 50 to 80 dollars. The way not to get burned was to find a studio (Falcon, Colt) or a director (John Travis, Matt Sterling, William Higgins) that you liked, and roam the earth trying to find everything they ever made. Of course, it was possible to rent movies, but not every store did than and anyway, that was no bargain either unless you had two VCRs and duped wha t you rented. … Not that I ever did that.

omg, don’t remind me. The men are so fucking beautiful that I’m dying to just get past that, and with Adam Archuleta and one or two others, I can. Jack is such a pig that I think his scenes are different. And Kris with that huge dick and those low hangers — I at least will watch his scenes once when I come across them. But as I’ve said here in the past, in order not to become a hoarder, I have limited myself to only the most elite stars (Vander, Tomas, more recently Bishop Angus and Manuel Skye) or to scenes that end with guys who can pull out (or not) and ejaculate without an edit. I don’t think I have ever witnessed such a scene in Bel Ami’s history. I’m convinced the models could manage it easily but the company doesn’t pursue it. (Again, they want to keep their formula.)

I’ve gone on way too long, but if you have any tolerance for vintage porn, watch Sailor in the Wild, and try to watch it as a movie all the way through. I think it’s the greatest porn “movie” ever made. Google it with quote marks, the whole thing is streamable. I’d post a link but I’m guessing that’s not allowed here. I would buy it on blu ray if they would remaster it.
