Kink is good in a lot of ways, but even they’ve had their issues. On the straight side, the gay side and the trans side. That’s the thing, all of these studios are messy, to varying degrees.

I’d be very curious to know what Sebastian Keys thinks of the site. Similar to Tom Faulk there was a scene in which he reacted quite viscerally to something that Dayton O’Connor or Jackson pulled in the scene. Soon after he went over to Kink dot com and never looked back. They are kind of the embodiment of safe and sane, which seems to be the opposite mantra of the JH empire (FX, SKS, MVM, also used to include DrillHim, ParoleHim, Leaked&Loaded etc). But until you mentioned it I’d completely forgotten that it was JH and the OTH universe….

I think I always side-eye everything from them because of that whole Tom Faulk /Donny Forza fight from years back. Everything about that was unprofessional without even considering the allegations Tom made about drug use on set and other stuff.

You’re earnest reply puts my flip replies to shame. I own my FX nonsense because I think the conditions under which it’s produced are their own special hell for all involved. Add to that the fact the performers seem to have a good time and roles are frequently reversed, and I don’t think any animals are harmed in the filming. Like SKS I deplore their production values. I don’t sense the JH stank myself, but I never had a visceral aversion to his stuff. Tho come to think of it, he was the idiot who first came up with the every other week update model. I completely respect your objections and values, it goes without saying.

It’s probably easier for them to do this type of scenes. All they have to do is get in touch with their inner douchebag.

Oh, I know. You’re not the type to discourage anyone from liking a certain model. I just didn’t like the idea that he used that word in this messy orgy. It’s wrong for me for lots of reasons. I’m all about being sex positive and exploring the things you like. Things are naturally going to speak to us differently, because we all have different life experiences. What you might see as something harmless I might see as something hurtful. And vice versa. The message this site is sending me isn’t something I’m comfortable with. Plus I think if you’re going to play with these tropes, there are better more evolved ways of doing so.

Given the site was created by Jeremy Hall and they feature a lot of models who self-identify as hetero, I’d say they do more reinforcing of that lifestyle than dragging. Jeremy is obsessed with straight jock/frat bros going all the way back to his Club Jeremy Hall days. To the point where he had trouble reconciling his own sexuality because he so desperately wanted to be part of that group.

But if you like the site, cool. No judgement on my end.

I didn’t write that to make you or anyone else dislike him. It’s just that when I watched that trailer and heard him use that word it left a bad taste in my mouth. It felt like he was trying to show out for a roomful of White people. Or maybe he normally talks like that and he was just being himself. Either way, it was enough to make me refocus my attention.

Oh… wow, I did not know that. He’s off my list now.

This site is my big guilty pleasure. And any site dragging frat life/culture doesn’t keep me up at night. Looking forward to a Proud Boys spoof site very soon…

I’m not sure how much of that I believe. Given how freely he dropped that modified n-word in mixed company during a recent scene I’m believing being an asshole comes easily to him.

I think Anthony Miller said something this site being his favorite studio to work with because he gets to be someone he’s not. So yeah, you definitely got that one right.
