I’m all for people getting their exploration on. And since the dawn of gay porn there has been this culture telling straight-identified guys “Just try it. So to see that messaging now being flipped and involving gay-identified guys isn’t surprising or even upsetting. Exploration should work both ways. The difference is when those straight guys ended up liking gay sex it was viewed as a “win.” If these gay guys prove they end up liking straight sex it is viewed as a “loss.” That disparity doesn’t sit well with me. And in both instances women are viewed as some type of foe we’ve either vanquished or been beaten by, which is all the way fucked up. That’s my biggest problem with these recent bi and trans scenes. The premises and optics are always psychologically messy. Which I guess is something it has in common with gay porn in general.

As for Wesley, I don’t think these ventures are turning out the way he had hoped. He constantly gets dragged for these scenes. It’s easy to talk big about sexual freedom and how open you are and all that online. It’s another thing to express that when there’s a vagina literally in your face. Wesley talked big, can’t back it up, and can’t walk it back either because he spent all this time pretending to be an evolved sex worker who can handle anything.
