CM’s best is better than BSB’s best, but on average, the number of guys in heavy rotation at the same time seems about the same to me. Long story short, the only thing we seem to disagree on is the value of what I see as CM’s overchoreographed sex and (again, in my view) tedious manual climaxes.

Could be both. I actually liked JJ when he started at CM. He had a bit more meat on him. But he became too skinny for my taste, and remained a bit of a dead fish.

Bryan Okert has over 2000 scenes of some really hot guys. Many models who started at CM went on to gay porn “careers” at other studios. But times change and it seems harder to recruit the classicly hot guys and that affects all purveyors of porn, including CM and BSB. On balance, CM has had a better roster than BSB IMO. BSB has not been able to recruit models like Vander, Timmy, and Jerome, Calhoun, whom a lot of people would agree are sex gods. Then there were Wright, Bronson, and Thompson, of the most recent cohort.

As for BSB, I found the hottest recent scene to be Jos topping Sky Clesi. And Mr Dover never fails to impress. But a few years ago there was Brandon Beal, Zeno Kostas, and Dakota Ford, for example, who were BSB stars IMO.

There is no comparison between Bryan Okert’s production and that of BSB. Bryan’s scenes are always crystal clear, skin tones are perfect, and the action is almost never missed. Splooge always is pushed into holes. BSB has only one, maybe two cameras on the action, and sometimes it is obscured. Often splooge is jerked onto backs or other peculiar destinations. Only sometimes is it now properly pushed into holes. So, in general, BSB is a step down from CM IMO.

Step down for JJ or for BSB? Either could be the case, which to me says it’s more or less a lateral move. Certainly the premise of the site fits better, even though I’ve said for a while now that they should call it “broke gay boys.” The two sites really travel the same lane, with CM being one notch better in terms of model appearance and photography, and BSB being several notches better in terms of sexual heat.

Who would you say is the greatest BSB star of all time, just out of curiosity? Sexually, I would give it to Ben Dover, but in an all-around award, I really have no idea. They have done some good work this decade, imo.

I saw JJ’s promo pic too and just shook my head. I’m curious to see how his reception there compares to his reception here. They better be upfront about him already doing porn, because those members hate that lie.
