I don’t know how to process those names at all — well, Blaze is not bad as names go. But I generally am not crazy about verb names (Blaze, Flex, Win–, Spread–).

Black porn star names are so odd. People like Devon Lebron, Wess Russell, and Michael Jackman go the obvious route and parody celebrity names. Other actors take names that are ethnically incongruous. Liam Cyber sounds Irish. Jacen Zhu sounds Japanese. There are others in that category besides Rooney that I’m blanking on. I like Jamal Kingston and Andre Donovan. Those names sound black without being all “Jamaica Broman” or whatever. (I made that one up.)
