Interesting, but I’ll direct any negativity toward the contents, production and marketing of the site. There is enough there to bitch about, and since I don’t know the guy, I’ll leave it at that.

I used to have a LOT of animosity toward G@yhoopla and Landon the owner
but recently had some convos with ex models of theirs who shed some
light on the fact that Landon is actually very, very, very short
(5’4-5’5 ish) and goes to great lengths to hide that fact and suddenly a
lot of things about him and the way he runs things made sense.

I always considered him a total douche and had no sympathy for him whatsoever
but after learning more about him and hearing both guys on totally
separate occasions refer to Landon as “that f*cking midget”, it changed

sad, sad, saaaaaaaad little guy (excuse the pun) trying to be the “Alpha male” when he never will be.

If they can’t get any real gay men on-board with their awful porn (because they all eventually leave due to environment/homophobia), they then result to going after their stable of unstable bi-heteros and tricking their HotGuysFuck models and basically force them to do GayHoopla porn. Such a shady studio, even Travis Youth left because he said the crew were off putting.

They also made light fun of Chad Duff roughing up the female talent on Instagram. Joking about thank goodness they have consent forms…making fun of potential assault is fucked up.

They trick the the models. I saw Julian Rodriguez post. For their popular HGF models they offer absurd money like 10k just to do a scene or two. That money could go into better production but they waste it on these guys that don’t perform well and don’t even look interested.

The GayHoopla guys are making things too difficult for no reason- it’s just porn. Instead of the failed college marketing course ideas, hidden faces, promos to subscribers, “secret menu” why don’t they just get a good camera and a guy that knows how to use it, and who keeps his mouth shut. Maybe pay an editor too. It really isn’t that difficult. Pretty pathetic.

Yeah, but… I liked Blake and Reno enough to join, even knowing how bad GayHoopla production is. These guy didn’t disappoint me, and the production was exactly as expected.

Improving in a visual medium means examining one’s own work and the work of others. Those het-bros won’t spend any more effort shooting and editing gay porn than they have to.

I think this guy is kid of attractive (at least looks good in some angles lol), but I totally get what you mean. Not to mention the mediocre production values and the poor sex.
