I mean, Gayhoopla still have people subscribing, have no problem getting good-looking guys, and people are still willing to buy the secret menu bs so I think that’s to be expected. Then again, with how several of them resorting to silly unarousing plots *cough*MEN*cough* or just relying on being bareback as selling point (RS and their “raw” puns in their series) it kinda means they are losing ideas on how to attract customers. As you say, it’s a mystery how Corbin Fisher is still standing when their “niche” is kind of dated at this point it probably won’t be long until they have to shut down too, if Max making OF account is any indication.

These models have been showing their ugly sides on Twitter even when bringing up important discussion on problems in the industry. (Don’t credit me with this since I don’t have much knowledge on laws in US) While the idea of having Porn Performers Union sounds nice on paper, with how treatment to members of LGBTQ+ it will be hard on implementation especially when too many toxic people have already been in the business. There’s also the matter of “different” priority of problems in other places. I heard European gay models had to even pretend to like women in order to get a marginally better treatment when they were not in big studios like Belami or such. It’s just a bad situation all over.

Considering those sites you mention belong to the same company, they’ll bound to be the same. I suspect they cut the amount of creative team once they did the merge. Oh man, that site… Their latest scene has a woman who is supposed to be one of the man’s lover eating salad. It may be a stretch, but that’s a very close callback to “in front of my salad”. It may not have the same parent company as MEN (Daddy Inc, not MG) but they use models who have already filmed with them (Alex Mecum and JJ Knight. I’m not counting Dante since he’s EVERYWHERE) and some from RagingHotFalconSword (the late Jay Dymel and his bf are the ones I can think of).

I’d be fine if the tax is used to ensure the performers’ safety and well-being, but that sounds like them trying to discourage the making of porn, I’m sorry. It will be a long time until porn performers in generat have a “normal treatment”, let alone models that belong in the LGBTQ+ community and nothing much can be done about it since it involves a lot of parties.outside of the industry.
Speaking of porn well-being, there was an uprorar in the European porn when one of their models was revealed to have HIV recently, right? I think there was that same case with Rod Daily and people did gather to talk about it since he worked at multiple studios. (honestly I forgot what to tell here)

Falcon and many porn studio are dead to me because they’re not true to what their brand is for. You see a Falcon, or RS, HH, you name it, and you’ve seen them all, they only thing different is the logo at the bottom right of the screen. I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but here (ITA) exists a porn tax which means roughly 25% of the income must be paid to the state, it’s no wonder we don’t have any kind of porn studio or sex worker producing porn within our borders. It’s a shitty situation all over.

Then again, even though there are still people that watch plenty of gay porn, I think its popularity has greatly decreased over the last 5 years, while lesbian porn is gaining momentum according to PornHub.

Smaller studios are forced to either merge or shut down completely (which makes me wonder how the fuck is Corbin Fisher even still alive), homophobic attitude in front and behind the camera seems to have risen dramatically and there appears to be an influx of messy individuals flodding these sites. Why can’t these people stop for a second and form a goddamn coalition or something and speak about all these issues, selling your community for bucks is gross.
