I’ve known you for years (Jeez… time flies) and I know you’re just being brutally honest. I love my Corbin Fisher too, but I’m not blinded by my love for them. They’ve been having problems since 2018, and while I do think it’s getting better this year, it’s still a roller coaster ride.

That is true. Corbin Fisher really set the bar so high along with Sean Cody. That’s why you have sites like Gayhoopla who are trying so hard (and still failing) to copy their formula. Corbin Fisher has a bit more advantage than Sean Cody because they are still independent. Sean Cody can only do so much with MG controlling everything so there will always be hope for Corbin Fisher.

I wouldn’t say Corbin Fisher don’t care anymore. One thing I’ve always noticed about them is they constantly exert effort to do better. Some people may not notice this, but as someone who constantly watches Corbin Fisher scenes I can see their efforts to do better. It may not always work in their favor but the effort is always there. That’s why I’m still hopeful they’ll be able to get back to their feet eventually. And in terms of overall quality of their scenes, I’d say they’re still doing pretty good. They’ve had a good number of really hot scenes this year.

I think it’s clear whoever has been left to handle recruiting is over their head, and it is time Jason put a plan into action to rectify that if he actually wants the site to stay relevant. They really need a professional talent scout with closing skills.

I would never imply Jase looks like he wanted to be here with Patrick, because I don’t think any model would feel those feels. I meant in general, at the studio. His first scene with Max (which I really think came after his scene with Elian) showed a lot of promise, and Max seemed to really enjoy it. He appears to be a model who doesn’t have many limits, but for whatever reason the studio is intent on keeping him inconsistent. Like how on Sean Cody suddenly tops who did it all only get sucked and then fuck. Everything at Corbin Fisher has been so ridiculously mishandled. Barron’s return. Max’s return. Travis’ return. And I hope you’re right about him wanting to be in this studio, ’cause this scene made me feel like he’s over it. I hope it’s really just the Patrick factor, because if he’ll give off the same vibe with his future scene partners, then he needs to go. I need to see the guy’s progression, not regression. True, a lot of things are being mishandled lately. Even the ratings are suffering. So many videos since August didn’t even reach 4 stars, which is very alarming. And that Beau tea… they have to be real stupid not to be after him. He’s one of their most reliable and consistently great performers, not to mention one of their most popular ones. Instead of asking Patrick back or overusing Andy to the beyond, they should’ve hired Beau instead. If they’re so set on getting a powerbottom, then Beau’s THAT guy. There are some guys who showed up this year that makes you question, “How in the hell did this guy get past the screening process and appear on the site?” It’s like they’re lowering their standards to add more guys to their dwindling roster. Sometimes it feels like they’re just accepting the guy because he’s willing to do gay scenes. And now we’re stuck with guys like Patrick. BelAmi would never. I know it’s getting more difficult to recruit guys willing to do gay porn these days because times are changing, but on the other hand it’s not an excuse for them to recruit just about anybody when their competitors are still getting quality guys. SC just got Jeb, and GH keep getting plenty good looking guys. I mean, I don’t trust GH and their ways so I don’t know what kind of spell Landon’s casting on all those guys (homophobia must be enticing, I guess) but the fact remains that they get good looking guys. That’s something Corbin Fisher should work on because all their superstars are not gonna be here forever. When they decide to leave porn, what’s gonna happen to Corbin Fisher then? But like I said, Andres, Emory and Lincoln is a good start. Now all they need are more guys of good quality.

It’s interesting because, for the first time, we are seeing a different version of Max — with scruff and a semi-messy bedroom with clothes all over, sort of like a dirty version of Max, and he still looks incredibly hot.
