I love that fool. I knew she would be supportive. We still have some work on my family, though. My dad hasn’t really said a word and though she was the first one I came out to, I don’t think my mom fully grasps it and thinks that I’m confused. Naw, I’m not confused at all. I know who I am and what I like. We’re going to work through this because I’m not going back in that damn closet. I feel a million tons better now that it’s not a secret.

It’s been a while. I’m sorry but I had to do some soul-searching and the results are in: going back to finish school to save my ass but, and most importantly, my family knows. Right before the end of Pride Month, I sat down with my mom and we talked. She was more upset that I didn’t come out sooner but she said that she already knew. She wanted me to come out because keeping it in was both killing me and making me angry: “Did you really think I was going to hate you? I have a gay brother and a gay sister. The last thing I want is to die being in denial about my son’s sexuality like my mother did with my brother but, child, I already knew. Been known for a long time. Was waiting for you to make a move. Don’t you feel better. Don’t you feel free?”. She wasn’t wrong. I did. Regret not coming out sooner but you never can tell. Just because your family got some gay relatives don’t mean they’re accepting to everyone coming out. Kind of miss coming out here. Miss my boy 2345 as I have found no trace of him.

He said the typical thing they all say: “I’m not racist; I’m just not attracted to guys with dark skin. I have many black friends”. When he said it, I tried hard to give him a chance but I just couldn’t take that comment. After that, so many others started saying it including Paul Canon, Connor Kline, Damien Kyle and a few other models. Ian also added that he couldn’t be racist as he had done a few scenes with black models like Austin Wilde.
