The issue is not even the quantity – it’s the quality. The quantity just makes it more evident that the quality is bad.

I’m reluctant to condemn or even comment on any individual’s choice to do that much porn because I think that really is getting personal — mainly because for some people it’s probably not a choice at all. I’m fortunate not to need to do a job that others would judge me for, and I’m not going to judge anyone else for what they have to do. But as a consumer I really need a performer to spread their scenes out and maintain some standards and a little mystery, even when being a slut is their shtick. Tomas is an example of someone who really made almost nothing but the best choices in terms of frequency.

Prince got very sanctimonious about being a “slave” to Warner Brothers, but without them purple-reining him in, he would still have been talented because there was no stopping that; but the public would have noticed substantially less. He wanted to put out every fucking song he wrote like it was a newspaper column. To throw in another analogy, it would be like The Simpsons releasing all 30 seasons in four years. Few people would even notice the good seasons because it’s just too much.

I’m a total contradiction on this. Sometimes overexposure is hit. It implies that the performer is just a cum hungry freak who can’t settle for one or two or three scenes. Other times, the repetition makes it seem less about the sex and more about a money making spree. But the quality of the scenes makes all the difference. The overused bottoms in the glory days of Sean Cody are my heroes. The overused stars of MEN … the less said about them, the better.

Not as much as Dante Colle, Michael del Ray, Pierce Paris and the likes of them lol
