I just looked at Brysen/Dan Yates’ IG and I couldn’t find anything about him being bi. Perhaps he has several accounts? He described himself as bi in his original solo, but I believe went since on to say he was flat-out gay.

I know I’ll catch some flack for this but I’m still not 100% on-board with the authenticity of bisexuality. In an exhaustive 2014 CDC survey 0.4% of men identified as bi, and since the study relied on self-reporting that figure may need to be corrected downward (conversely the 1.9% who identified as exclusively same-sex oriented might need a bit of a bump, though not that much of one). For most, I think it’s a ‘hey, I like chicks too!’ rationalization.
