I never really followed CM so I can’t really say how much they’ve changed. But I’m familiar with some models like Timmy and Bronson, and all I can say is that there’s no recent CM model right now who has caught my attention like those two did. But Bryan’s stubbornness regarding the whole Basil thing was the site’s downfall. Even MG-run SC had to do some damage control when they faced similar backlash. I barely pay CM attention but as a consumer, that was a huge turn-off to me because it showed how much Bryan don’t care about his site anymore. And not caring meant subpar quality products at best.

I can’t decide where Chaosmen fits into what you and I are describing. Most porn companies that were in business ten years ago were about to hit arguably their best period ever for the four years that followed. Yet it is blatantly obvious that no company except Bel Ami has come through the entire last ten years putting out exactly the same quality product. Technology should have made it easier (think about what local news broadcasts looked like ten years ago versus now?), but somehow, SC and Corbin Fisher actually look visually worse. But aside from that, I agree that Corbin Fisher has shrunken its roster but tried to put out product that was essentially as appealing as it used to be. I am inclined to say that CM can be credited with the same effort. Doing the best it can with what appears to be a smaller, less dramatic roster. No longer able to pay Solomon, Nash, Taylor, Isaiah, Valentino, etc., whatever it will take to get them to say yes.

LOL! You went in on these studios! Well… that’s the problem when a company is owned by a conglomerate. The site’s no longer the same company the original owner has built and envisioned to be. It has become just another money-making site for these greedy corporate guys who don’t give a fuck about gay sex and the gay audience. This is why I still respect Corbin Fisher even though they’ve been a hit or miss these past few years. You can tell the owner is still very much invested in his company so you can feel there’s a conscious effort to improve even though it doesn’t always work out. I can’t speak for the other studios you mentioned ’cause I’m not much of a fan of those sites, but I respect them for staying true to who they are as a studio.

I’m totally belaboring this, but today’s Lucas Entertainment update is a small example of what I mean, even though that site is way closer to Bel Ami in terms of putting out a consistent product that everyone can usually enjoy on some level. But the title is “Fucking Show Offs.” And they have an audience assembled, who I guess we are to infer are strangers to the guys in the scene. Who are these people? Where are they? Why are they just sitting and staring? To me, when a scene has a premise that is played for a joke, it’s worse than having no premise at all. It’s like trying to watch a stand-up comedian tell bad jokes.

Same annoyance as always. Josh is (or was) the creampie king. When I see his face, I immediately think that’s going to be a chance to see an internal. It’s sort of like hiring a pornstar who is famous for dirty talk and then putting him in a bound-and-gagged scene where he is the one wearing the gag. (Poor example because that could actually be interesting.) What it says to me is that the people at certain companies who direct these scenes have absolutely no emotional investment in them. It’s like that moment in Clueless where Cher is using the computer to pick out her clothes, only no one is studying the screen to make sure the outfit combinations make sense. They mix and match completely at random, and failure happens as often as success.

When it was the actual Sean Cody, his fetishes were obvious and the scenes were a showcase for that. Same is true for MaverickMen, Clay the Raunchy Bastard-tamer (or is he the raunchy bastard?), Corbin Fisher (obvious foot fetishist, for example). With FamilyDick and MormonBoyz, the sites are actually built around specific fetishes, although there are cracks in the foundation now that Legrand Wolf is sort of at war with his own previous brands.

With the more recent SC and other MG properties, no one in charge has any of the fetishes that they are appealing to. So every scene they shoot with a particular fetish in mind is undercut by something they overlooked. Actually the no. 1 example of that for me, surprising given that I mostly like the site, is when FamilyDick portrays a stepson wanting to have sex with his father for the first time. It’s shocking how often the bottom/son in the scene is flaccid at the beginning. This is supposed to be a life-changing scenario with a YOUNG. guy fulfilling what has to be his ultimate fantasy if the scene is to be believed at all. A limp cock in that situation is completely irrational unless the scene is implying that the son is doing this against his will, but that is more MB territory than FD.

It’s totally fine. We all have our fave endings we like to mention from time to time. I trust your good eye when it comes to CFF ’cause even I get fooled with edits sometimes when it comes to CFF. But make no mistake, I can’t be fooled when it comes to cum eating. That’s my fave ending and I will not tolerate an edited oral cumshot and fake cum eating endings. LOL! I know I bang that drum too often given that not everyone considers it so important. Even when one of those things is true, I try to pick my battles.
