I totally agree with that. It’s time they stop referring to gay sex as “Guy-on-guy action”/ gay porn as an “All-male adult work” and start calling them for what they truly are.

All I’ll say is if CF/Jason really feels this way about the stigmatization of gay sex and gay porn, they should do a better job of celebrating both. I can’t remember the last time the studio mentioned a model being gay or bisexual. It’s all “he likes men” or “He’s such a stud he’ll fuck anyone.” The best is those “he has been doing so well with guys that we threw him some pussy” straight scenes. If you’re telling CBS and the world gay sex (paid or unpaid) is nothing to be ashamed of, I’m gonna need your site to use the word “gay” more than once every five years.

I see your point, and I guess you could say that it is somewhat self-serving. But at the same time it doesn’t take away their genuine intent to defend Ethan and gay adult work. that statement shines a light on how gay adult work is still being stigmatized by mainstream media and how unfairly Ethan was treated by the show. CBS is out there trying to create a narrative in favor of themselves by putting all the blame on Ethan so it’s only right for Corbin Fisher to defend him. Everyone knows Jason is the original Mrs. Petty. But this is also the same man who helped pay for a model’s medical bills after he was assaulted. As petty as he is, he cares for his models’ welfare and I don’t believe he will do something that will burden Ethan even more just for publicity. Now… those BLM statements from certain studios… those are pure stunts and there’s nothing genuine about them. I wouldn’t put it in the same category as CF’s statement because we all know those studios never cared for black models and they only did it to hop on what they see as a “trend”. So I guess we can just agree to disagree regarding CF’s statement.

That statement was no different than the self-serving BLM statements certain studios have been making. I don’t think it’s appropriate for a studio to drop not-so-blind items about a model’s non-porn work, then turn around and start waving the equality flag when that model gets dragged out of the porn closet. Corbin Fisher has been in the business for more than fifteen years. If Jason has to do all this for publicity, that’s pretty bad. And I haven’t forgotten this is the same man who once upon a time dragged a model in a writeup for having a botched circumcision. His professionalism is pretty much on par with La El.

Also important to note, whomever runs the Corbin Fisher account claims they don’t watch the show. But the words “love island” were used to promote the Elian and Roman update…the very same day the shit hit the fan. After CF’s statement someone questioned if Ethan was okay with what they wrote, since he may have been trying to keep the reasons around his firing quiet (even though peopled assumed what it was related to). The response was basically “He’s a capable and confident man in front of any camera, we’ve worked with him for six months, so it’s not like his porn was exactly a secret.” That should be a red flag to any future models. You only deserve six months of anonymity.

discriminated against. If he wanted to drag the others, he would’ve easily mentioned their names like what those messy Love Island viewers are doing on the show’s social media accounts. People are already talking about Ethan’s work as well as the other cast members’ OF work even before Corbin Fisher made their official statement. Jason knows Ethan more than we do so I trust he’s doing it for him and not for the subs.

Jason can be many things but I don’t think he’s a bad person. Their first few tweets may have been for publicity, but after the firing I doubt he still have the same intent. I believe their statement is genuine and I’m glad they stood up for Ethan. What CBS did was an indirect attack on the adult industry particularly gay adult entertainment. Everything about it screams homophobia.
