The good news is that I subbed just in time as Visa and Mastercard apparently did sever ties with MG as MG also owns Porn….Hub, and apparently there’s some ongoing investigation with that site.

I quickly glanced over this thread and was just impressed that they were at least conversing as adults might. I decided not to give thought to their dooms-day assessment of Porn Studios. I know the longer we submerge ourselves into Porn the more jaded we become and what once did it for us doesn’t anymore. Hello? It’s reality calling! Corbin Fisher is alive and well. They’re still releasing tons of good scenes. They’re not dying just because you say they are. GH is alive and well for that matter. And there’s a very good chance SC will rebound after the pandemic.

Yeah, SC looks like it’s about to follow Randy Blue to the grave. GH is such a profit-driven site ran by straight guys so I don’t expect them to maximize their potential and deliver quality gay content consistently. Despite their obvious struggles, Corbin Fisher is actually putting up a good fight. The fact they managed to do better than they did last year despite the pandemic speaks volumes, so I wouldn’t count them out. As for Kaden Dane, I’ve never heard of it.

Fan sites definitely had an impact to porn studios, but then again even those sites are starting to change. With all the celebrities joining the OF community, it’s only a matter of time before they shift their focus.away from the adult entertainment.

SC unfortunately looks to be done. The only thing someone can do is create their own website to fill in that niche. Gayhoopla looked promising in the beginning but the people in charge had their own agenda to be within the straight industry and detoured the site and veered it far off from its potential. They had a chance to sell it, but once again shitty management. Corbin Fisher is dying. Kaden Dane was supposed to be that competitor, but it’s been years since the announcement and it still hasn’t launched, so it’s practically DOA.

That’s true. But I guess what I’m trying to say is that the SC logo’s gone so big that it’s almost becoming a separate entity in itself. Like, they went beyond the “they were better back then” situation that usually happens to a lot of older studios. Even Falcon and Men’s logos aren’t that well-known.

You can tell MG don’t care about SC just by looking at how they poorly handled the site during this pandemic. Even the NDS owners gave more fucks about AD than MG did with SC. I wouldn’t be surprised if SC will completely turn into an apparel brand in a few years time.

To be fair, the thing where the brand becoming more famous than its current iteration happens a lot for any recurring media that runs for a long time becaus eof nostalgia, and Sean Cody is no different in that regard. I mean, with how often updates from the site is filled with comment(s) mentioning their old models, I can safely say it already happened.

However, current SC’s condition update schedule wise is really bad, and MG’s (alleged) decision to assimilate SC into MEN is shitty tbh. Whoever in charge of both sites behind the screen needs a serious talking.
