lol, I gotta disagree on that last point just a little bit. But the arty stuff has to increase the arousal factor. It can’t get in the way of it.

This image below is from one of LE’s best efforts to do something artistic. I thought the stuff on that beam was breathtaking, but also a little scary. It helped that they didn’t look uptight about it. They looked like they were having fun.

The scene is terrific, but I don’t see any reason for the “night” lighting. The shadows are just a distraction and annoying. THey mostly avoid having them in the worst places, but for instance I would like to see Rhys’s face while he’s getting fucked. There’s just no reason for it. It’s porn for god’s sake, the only purpose is to let us enjoy seeing these two incredible men fuck. No one cares about being arty.

The beauty of the men at this company, jesus fucking christ. I hate “night” scenes, but I am also willing to admit that they not only occasionally are better than I expect but in some cases better, period. I don’t like when they use it to try to manufacture the fantasy that this is some bathhouse encounter or whatever. The lighting is not what determines the authenticity or excitement of the sex. But if they have a skilled technician lighting the scene specifically for artistic effect, then it can be a great aesthetic choice.
