I’ve always seen SC performers as having a wide variety of “looks” to the point I can not think of a single performer now or from the past who I think of as the person who exemplifies a SC “look”. To me Tyus immediately made me think of SC’s Dax, and also Kevin comes to mind. Tyus and Kevin have different coloring but the same “look”. AND, I enjoy nothing more than men having FUN with their hair and not standing aside and letting only women be adventurous. I just don’t need for men to look like they work in a bank in the 1950s.

It’s actually not a strange name to say, to me. TIE-US. I like it because it is not such a common name. Every famous person with that name is Black and in sports, so it might be a name that became made-up somewhere along the line in The Black community. I can not track down its root or meaning though. Maybe porn performer Tyus is a fan of the REALLY CUTE, professional basketball player Tyus Jones and decided to use his name. Who knows?
