Actually, I think it’s becoming a thing. “Str8” guys on the DL responding to hookup site offers of in-home gloryholes set up through a false door, etc. No questions, no chitchat, no need to see or wonder who is behind the hole. No danger of public indecency charges, no need for wife or SO to be any the wiser.

The glory hole was a massive fail here, but they also had a lot to do with Avery’s low-energy performance and baffling indifference to the top. Was that supposed to be part of the storyline? Reluctance or hesitation to have full contact? It came across as bitchy and insulting. Sebastian is one top who needed no coaching. He still made the scene soar, and I feel like this series was otherwise one of the best CB has done in a while, even setting aside Austin Wolf’s turn.

Yeah, he kinda ruined this scene. Top is smoking, which helped, but Avery seemed like a bitchy/judgy bottom who didn’t deserve the fuck or the attention Seb was throwing him.

It’s a silly idea that someone would create a gloryhole in their own residence, then go onto hookup site to have someone come over, to suck their dick through said hole.

Outside of a Joe Gage film here or there or something in that vein (maybe some of the ChaosMen ones from years back) I’m not really into that kink. Mainly because some studios/scenes take it too far and have all the action taking place in filthy bathrooms. That’s not hot to me.

I concede that the gloryhole is a fail. In fact, I’m convinced that this younger generation has no concept of what gloryholes were for. They get that the dick goes through the hole, but every other part of the way those encounters worked in real life is lost on them. In fact, here’s a hot take — historically, the gloryhole is the worst-used prop in porn. I think I’ve seen it done well maybe three times. Higgins was pretty good at it. The Young and the Hung has an AWESOME scene with a gloryhole. The Bigger the Better made exciting use of it, although by the end of the scene the guy is naked and getting fucked on the floor in the open, so the use of the hole to avoid getting caught is defeated. Joe Gage had some good gloryhole scenes, and finally, in this millennium, Barebacking Across America (pictured below) had a great gloryhole scene that ended with a handsfree cumshot. The authenticity of the scene is that you can’t see who the tops are which, newsflash, was part of the point of gloryholes.

But having said all that, this scene (Sebastian/Avery) is VERY hot in the second half, and has one of the best endings I’ve seen in years. (You know what my priorities are.)
