Unproven that Micky chose his entire porn name himself. Obviously, the company has ultimate say-so–they are the ones paying. However, we know for a fact that the governments of Niger and Nigeria approve of their names, otherwise they could change them — and may, if (like Zimbabwe) they decide to do so.

My point exactly. Just as I do not believe that MYllato has anything to do with MUHlatto. One is a variation on an Italian surname and the other is a word for someone who is mixed race. Mulatto is a word that is so unused I’d bet many young people have never heard it and would have to look it up. Back in the past, when it was used it was used derogatorily. I seriously doubt Micky sought to “slyly” name himself derogatorily. But this is the second time a RacistHunter here has sought to suggest that. As you wrote, “it’s possible it isn’t.” I would venture to say it’s VERY POSSIBLE it isn’t. Micky comes off as such a ‘good guy”, here to please ALL with no thought of offending ANYONE, and could quite possibly be Italian.

Mallato is an ITALIAN surname. In Italian it is pronounced MYlato. If pronounced with an American accent it would be MAWlatto. I can’t imagine that Micky would use his own surname BUT he could be Italian and familiar with the name and decided to use it. If he is like me the word mulatto never entered his mind to “play on”. That is a word I NEVER hear used, and he’s younger than me. You might be from an older generation. Mulatto is pronounced MUHlato. The surname Mallato would only be “fucked up” if the names of two Countries in Africa (Nigeria-OR-Niger) are fucked up. But back to Micky. What a handsome, personable and sexy charmer he is, and I can’t imagine he meant any harm with his Italian surname. Brock Bradley certainly does not seem to think so. He was in the background watching MIcky, beaming. I betcha they will soon be performing together.
