We can not know the inner workings of someone’s mind. Most people don’t know the inner workings of their own mind. My guess is that DAX returned because SC wanted him to and he wanted to. That is my guess. What I enjoy about Dax is he has such a clean and ELEGANT look and demeanor. He comes across as someone who has always JUST showered. Tehehehehe! It’s fun seeing him embrace the hairier version of himself in this scene. My guess is that was a conscious step along his way to more self-acceptance. I can imagine him being very involved in personal growth. To me his “charisma” is his strong sense of self-assurance and purposefulness. The opposite of “grace” is clumsy and crude and that is the OPPOSITE of how Dax is. So the opposite of the opposite of grace is grace.

Why did Dax return?
To do the usual sames, with their boring scenes, without grace, without charisma. The only watchable scene he did was the one with Daniel. Not even the wonderful Devy was able to save this crap.

My guess is that SC does not ever want to be caught off guard again, as they were with the Pandemic. They had so few scenes in reserve when they shut down and had to take whatever scenes they could from wherever they could and from whoever they could. They are probably storing up scenes now, like a squirrel storing up nuts for the Winter……..just in case. I was surprised to see Dax with a hairy butt, BUT it looks good. Did he miss his appointment or cancel it? He is such an ELEGANT man it is hard to imagine him not presenting himself exactly as he wants to present himself at all times. His tattoos are so elegantly and artfully placed, for example, with much thought. My guess is that it was with much thought he decided to go a bit ‘hairy”, but that is just my guess.
