The same applies to ANY of MEN’s public sex scenes in which a woman might be present. Women exist in public situations, whether as strangers or family members or friends or enemies. As I wrote, misogyny causes some to see what is not really there. They see some sort of IMAGINED threat or conspiracy. What is REALLY there is just the set-up that there will be Gay sex between at least 2 men in a situation in which they are not alone and can get caught. That is a titillating fantasy scenario for many that MEN portrays routinely but NOT exclusively. For example, on Monday the set-up was 2 guys using a dating app to schedule a fuck session to be in an apartment, alone.

The NEGATIVE reaction to the BRIEF, non sexual, comedic appearance of a CLOTHED woman is misogyny. Just as the negative reaction to those in the Gay community is homophobia and the negative reaction to those in the Black community is White Supremacy and the negative reaction to those in the Jewish Community is Nazism. These negative reactions result in someone seeing MORE than what is really there. They see an imagined THREAT and the unraveling of society as they want it to be. Women exist in PUBLIC. This is a PUBLIC SEX scene. So, if you and a Gay friend go into a restaurant and a woman takes your order, does that establish you as a heterosexual before you go into the bathroom and suck your friend’s cock? THINK!

What I’m reading in your post is justifications for misogyny. What both of these BRIEF characters establish is being in PUBLIC. This is a Public Sex scene. Women exist in public, as do drunken old men. Negative reactions to the brief NON SEXUAL sight of a CLOTHED woman is misogyny, pure and simple.

I’m glad there are people who understand the underlying problem here.
It’s just sad that people who lack this understanding, resort to attributing all kinds of nasty things to those who do. Like a ‘toothpick boner’, ‘unresolved issues with women’ or being ‘misogynistic’.
And it is really sad that even porn models who identify as gay, like Craig Marks, don’t see the problem and fail to be a good role model for young people discovering about their sexuality and how society judges about that.

I would say the problem in a lot of cases is not as much women, as it is heterosexuality. As in, guys putting up a straight facade because there is an underlying assumption that if they are straight they are more desirable, or simply that one of the guys HAS to be straight and they HAVE to include a woman there just to make it clear.
