I honestly could talk your ear off about Catalina / Laguna Pacific / William Higgins. It’s so bizarre to me how boring his Euro stuff was compared to the stuff he did 40 years ago, which was off the charts hot. It was like the little hot moments in those movies were never ending. Cousins, Route 69, Best Little Warehouse in LA, Printer’s Devils, and what I called the holy trinity — Sailor in the Wild, The Young and the Hung, and Leo and Lance. I wish he had talked more about those years. I don’t know if anyone asked him, but he seemed sort of closed off.

The top is the legendary Chad Douglas. Check out Falcon’s Spring Break (1988) and Catalina’s Big Guns (1987). The latter movie is better visually because it was shot on film with live sound, a feat that Catalina accomplished far more often than Falcon did, giving their movies a more classic film look. (Parts of Big Guns were shot on video, and those scenes are super hot as well, but the difference is conspicuous on an artistic level.) I believe the scene below was from the videotape part of the feature. Tape or film, I really can’t say enough about both movies. 1988 was decidedly for me the last year of the classic era of gay porn. By 1989, condoms were widespread and “film” was a thing of the past, regardless of the size of the studio’s budget. And if you want more mid 80s recommendations, I can talk/type your ear off. I hope someone named Brandon85 has an appreciation for how good that era was, though I think 1983-84 was probably the peak of the quality.

Not rag doll. 😭💀 Honestly, I did like him in the beginning but I eventually reached my saturation point and got fed-up of him. Everything is the same with Noah, even his threesomes. That’s what he’s always been to CF, a toy for every other model to use. He’s a good performer but he’s so one-dimensional and predictable. And with a small roster like CF’s, his limitation is even more felt. You watch one of his scenes and you’ve basically seen it all. Heck, this scene even feels like a deja vu. Watching him for two years do the exact same thing with little to no variation has really exhausted whatever appeal he had.

I actually don’t think he’s a good performer, good performer needs to maintain the real emotion. spouting the obviously fake woman’s moans and making it too loud in every scene regardless of whether his partner fucked him hard or gentle doesn’t mean he’s a good performer. And He’s just not sexy that much for this position, Adriano and Richie are like literally almost there ( a turn off)

I came to say the same thing. The camerawork was not as good as the Dylan threeway which suggests to me that this one is older. I don’t mean to say that it was very bad, just that some of the shots were back to that washed-out photography that the site has featured for years (inexplicably since anyone’s phone can take clearer video). They must have used multiple kinds of cameras for the scene because the shots that I dislike are isolated to the middle.

I already suspected (and said in a previous update, I think?) that Rocky is kinda like this generation’s Chandler. Today, Rocky was like, “No, motherfucker, Chandler is that generation’s Rocky.” I thought Gabriel Clark’s cumshot (partially creampieing Mitch) was the best I was going to see this week, but I was clearly wrong.
