Juan, to me, is SOOOOO sexy. Beautiful guy. Charming. Perfect amount of body hair. Seductive. The epitome of “Tall, dark and handsome.” He’s an unicorn at GH because he’s not Straight AND he let that be known in his interview. There was none of GH’s 1990 Straight-man, IS HE GAY(?), guessing games for once. The set-up in this scene is so EMBARRASSINGLY bad. The massage parlor with no proper massage tables. Juan was made to enter the room as the demeaning stereotype of a Gay man, like the Hispanic, male maid in Nathan Lane’s The Bird Cage. When Juan asks Maximus if the rimming of his ass was “okay,” Maximus answers as if a waitress asked him if the tuna salad sandwich he had ordered was okay. I’m sorry that GH does not see you as I see you, Juan. What a GRRRRRRREAT scene you could have been in if they did.
