Actually, a mustache becomes a pornstache when someone seen as being sleazy, creepy or predatory is wearing it. Otherwise it’s just a mustache. People who don’t like mustaches might call them pornstaches to be insulting. Originally, a so called “pornstache” was heavy and thick, with elongated ends. I just don’t see porn performers as sleazy, creepy or predatory just because they are porn performers. Some do. Many certainly did in the terribly homophobic 70s and 80s when many Gay porn performers wore heavy mustaches. It is thought they did so to assert their masculinity and get across the point that even though they were Gay porn performers they were not “fems” and “sissies”.
