Nowadays the bulk of information piles up so high that nobody is capable of organising it properly for themselves. Put a lot of fake stuff in the mix and it’s no wonder many people get completely lost, alas very often without realising it. Especially young men don’t like to admit they got something wrong because they failed to get their info organised. Checking info against reliable sources is too time consuming and dull (everything has to be entertaining!). Opportunities to mislead the ones who are not equipped with an above average amount of brain cells are abundant.

This place has been transformative for me in terms of learning what people like about porn and why, and it has shaped my taste for 20 years. it's a ghost town now. Personally for me it has to do with what I was saying about SC, that the industry itself has experienced what most industries experienced in the last two decades. To me, the internet was like a riot. It forced all the gatekeepers away, and everyone was like, "Omg, everything is free!" Five minutes later, it looks like the end of Do the Right Thing, a wasteland. All the stuff we were excited to have gets ruined because there's no incentive for anyone with any talent to be committed to anything. Books, movies, television, newspapers, magazines.
