The pov angle is the real hook, putting you right in the middle of it, which adds a lot to the experience. That said, like a lot of Rocky-focused scenes, it sticks closely to that one dynamic without much tonal shift. Still, if you’re a fan of Rocky’s brand of control and Jack’s willingness to go along for the ride, it delivers exactly what you’d expect.
