In the US mentality where in thousands of high schools they still use corporal punishment, this can have some fantasy related aspect, for a European it’s a bit crazy, unless it’s a spank that prelude rough sex.

Perhaps “I never will” was just hyperbole, but I think you’ll find that many things you had one opinion of at a particular age, you’ll change toward as your experiences change. I remember I met a guy in a dance club once who took me back to his gorgeous condo to have sex. We played a handful of times after that, but always in public (“friendly” public places, restrooms or stairwells at other nightclubs). I was always a little annoyed and insulted that he never brought me home again, whereas now I have a fetish for public play, and I kick myself for not enjoying those encounters more in the moment.
