LOL I wish. No I work for an International Investment firm, I am sort of like a corporate hit man. I head a pretty highly specialized team, our firm makes investments in struggling corporations – if they accept our terms. Although If we want them badly enough acquisitions just does their thing and tosses the carcasses to the side. However, if they accept our terms, my team goes in to analyze everything from the bottom up, (ha) my job is to make sense of all the mess, I get the reports from forensic accounting, interview the suspected idiots, identify the weakness and fire it’s happy ass(s), hire new happy ass(s) cut loose any ailing suppliers, put together a new team within said company right down to the people who sing their damn jingle. HB – or someone else from legal will then look my plans over and tell me what our legal exposure is – bitch you haven’t seen litigation till you walked one of these fat cats to the elevator with his damn box LOL! Anyway then after legal shits all over my plans we do it my way anyway, (bodies everywhere) the company is getting bailed out in exchange we own controlling interest for X number of years based on the size of the loan, or until said loan is paid in full. We also retain the option to sell their note. So in most cases they play nice. There is never a dull moment. Happily my record is spotless, every company I came for is still on it’s own steam and growing.

Thanks, boo. Been gone off of this site because we had two losses in the family. Lost a great-uncle on the eleventh and a great-aunt days before him. We knew my uncle was going to pass because he has been down for months and his heart was at 10% but the aunt died suddenly. The funeral was nice and joyous. My family doesn’t really do mournful funerals and I loved the positive words they had to say about him.

His stepson told us how he was the only dad that he ever knew in life (I had no idea he and my great-aunt had only been married 22 years, 23 on May 27th). He was a carpenter and used to be employed by another man until he realized the man was trying to cheat out customers by having broken stuff installed in their houses to keep requesting their business. Save for a few ratchet family members that were there, the experience was all-the-way positive.

I love law, I find it intriguing, and criminal law is a high demand field. The biggest problem facing minorities is an outrageous shortage of quality in already over taxed legal aid. They wind up with some asshat that convinces them to take deals no paid attorney would ever acquiesce too. Iv’e been in court with HB on a few occasions watching this crap go down, they fall like cards. The attorneys are too busy just trying to pump these cases through a system that is not equipped to handle the load, and they pay a dear price for not being able to afford real representation.
