Can we just withhold this series for a moment? The man’s death is not even a month ago.

This is a delicate subject matter so I will approach this very carefully. I respect the various viewpoints here and, to a certain extent, I agree with or at least understand just about everything that has been said here.

Many people that commit suicide do so out of loneliness, but especially hopelessness. They feel that the situations they are faced with will never change in a hundred years. I don’t know the particulars of why Casey committed suicide, but, specifically within the gay community, sometimes people feel a lack of acceptance. I would imagine this was especially true in decades past.

I would hope if there is a positive to be gained out of this posthumous release, it’s the pleasure that it has brought people and perhaps Casey would be honored that something he did is enjoyed by others. And maybe he found an acceptance within the gay community he didn’t find elsewhere.

There was a time where I could not fap to images or thoughts of a dead person. My thinking on that has evolved. I still fap to Logan from Corbin Fisher. I won’t let the 6 bitches and bastards that took his life ruin that enjoyment for me. Killjoys and trolls exist all through the world, both in real life and on the internet.
