I agree about the “after hours” photography, and I also agree about Eli. One complaint about Eli is that he can come across as a bit aloof. I’ve noticed how he can be perceived that way sometimes. In this trailer he seems fully present and engaged in this scene with Chris. My guess is that he might be very sensitive and feed off of (and unconsciously react to) the degree of receptiveness of his partner, not remembering he is there to put on a “show” of sexual camaraderie, like it seems he does in this scene, whether it is really there or not.

I agree Eli does come across in some scenes as being rather aloof. In my experience over the years, sometimes with gay performers. if they have a lack of connection with their scene partners, this can come across as being disconnected within the scene. However if the model is skilled enough the viewer is not aware of this.

To me, that’s what’s exciting about them. It’s like, “Omg … I’m kinda scared of them right now” (in a good way!).

I would compare it to the way for years Chaosmen was, per Bryan Ockert’s fetish, trying to capture a sense that these were just straight guys fumbling with each other. And then he discovered guys like Vander or Bay, who looked like no amount of gay sex was enough for them. Even with their popularity, Bryan was always trying to keep a certain vibe in the scenes, which was decidedly not “let’s see how many loads Vander can take.” The point is that the older after dark scenes (I haven’t watched the newer ones yet) are like a gritty departure from the CF norm. But I changed my tune after I saw them.

I do like this ‘’After Hours’ series my faves are the Dane/Elian, Max/Beau, Beau/Timothy, and Barron/Dane scenes .
