Actually, to be a Trauma Surgeon you first need a Bachelor’s degree. A BA or BS, as long as you complete all the required science courses. Med schools actually look for people from a variety of backgrounds, not just those who are science majors.
Then you go to medical school for a Doctor of Medicine Degree, not a PhD. And you don’t need a Master’s Degree to get into med school.
