I can’t for the life of me understand why people think I need permission to give my opinion.

So, tell me, when am I allowed to talk? Is it only when you approve? Is it only when I agree with you? Is it only when I have something nice to say? Oh, beat me into conformity.

The next question is, you want to live in a world where everyone agrees? There is only one opinion? One viewpoint? How fucking interesting is that? There have been instances in history where dissenting viewpoints were just outlawed and eliminated. There’s a value to be extolled.

Finally, you must have reading comprehension issues, too. Tell me, where did I “put down” Dirk Caber for his age? I simply said I do NOT like older guys. They don’t interest me, excite me or serve any purpose. I even outlined in hyperbolic terms that Dirk Caber could be the finest specimen of older guy on this earth and he could be the best performer in porn, but I’m still not attracted. That’s demeaning and insulting and being mean and ugly and making fun? No, it is not. Did I say he was ugly? Fat? Big nosed? Moronic? Femmy? Special? None of the these.

People don’t like Helix twinks because they’re too young, skinny, undeveloped, not manly, smooth, blah, blah, blah. Are they all a bunch of meanies, too?

Others don’t like “straight” gay-for-pay guys because either they’re an affront to the GLBT cause or because they don’t like sex with guys and are terrible performers. Again, they’re just haters? Sit down and shut up, as Chris Christie says?

There’s 4 dozen possible complaints but anyone who mentions them is a douche? Have you ever read reviews or criticisms? Let me tell you something, they’re not all glowing exercises of love.

PS Why should he care if I’m not attracted to him because he’s an older guy? 1) I’m excluding a group and not singling him out, 2) there’s obviously tons of devoted fans who love him and think he’s the bee’s knees and 3) I was nice about it.

PPS My contribution adds everything to the discussion because it’s a minority viewpoint and is completely valid. A bunch of people sitting around all saying the same thing, patting each other on the back is homogeneous, boring, not entertaining nor distinctive.

Is this an example of your critique of my opinion? It is an opinion of my opinion but I must say, it’s not very compelling nor original nor entertaining. There’s always some light weight, Dudley Do right around here repeating what his momma always told him…”If you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all.” Because porn performers are people too and they have feelings and they might get hurt if they read something bad about them. Look, if you don’t like what I said or you don’t agree with it, you don’t need to start off saying that I shouldn’t have said it.

This boils down to your belief that unless something PARTIALLY appeals to you, then you can’t complain. There needs to be a big surprise, disappointment, deceit or bait and switch.

Sorry, it doesn’t work that way around here. People are free to render opinions even on things they have no interest in…ever.

We have a few resident broken records around here so while you might find various differing expressions of my porn sensibilities around here, you will not read the same words over and over every day.

BTW, I like Solomon Aspen a lot…not so much since he left Chaos, but he’s hot. So, does that qualify me?
