Survivor Hatch Going Down on Taxes?

Richard Hatch may be a rat–or is it a snake?–but right now, the first-season Survivor champion and self-confessed big naked homo Richard Hatch finds himself this week on trial for tax evasion. Prosecutors allege that Hatch declined to pay taxes on the $1 million he won in the TV reality show–in fact, for that tax year, Hatch claimed a $4500 refund due to him, lawyers say. Hatch says he isn’t at fault; his attention was distracted by charges of child abuse and his taxes were done by an amateur. The prosecutors add that he didn’t report income from being a radio host or a slumlord, either.
