Many gay men MIGHT have turned on by straight men through history, but in this country and some European countries, when the 1960s hit and the gay revolution began, and gay men all over the world realized they were not alone in their homosexuality and gay bars were free and open and not under attack by the police and bathhouses thrived, the straight archetype for gay men diminished.
