Gavin Waters co-directed this scene and came up with the concept. We told him that after 4 years, we were finally leaving New York City. As this would be the final scene we shot in our original set (and in the city), we really wanted to show off the city. Gavin came up with a great idea: he’d go jogging on the West Side Highway, and then do some light exercising on our rooftop, overlooking all of Manhattan. On the roof, Franco (who was getting some sun) finds him and they start making out with the backdrop of the entire city behind them.
This flip-fuck scene between Gavin and Franco is hot, and is the perfect send-off as we move away from New York City and leave our original set.
