Marshall is/was strung out on drugs. He posted that he checked into rehab over the summer and that he was intent on achieving sobriety. He was arrested on drug related charges in November. He’s close to rock bottom. He posts messages begging for various drugs.

apparently he went into rehab in September, but was arrested for drug possession and stuff in November…

@TrueWords, i think it’s beyond just ‘rehab’ now… anyway, there’s a lot of stuff to absorb about Marshall in the MOP comments.

This probably says nothing as far as his drug problems, but on his FB page it says he updated his “interested in” section to men and women 18 hours ago. so maybe that gives /some/ hope that he’ll be back at Sean Cody sometime soon…

@jockyboy, IMO, he’s so far beyond SC. I think any studio would match-outdo whatever Sean Cody would pay him. Considering all the guys they take on, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him @ MEN.

Depending on what state he was in, it’s difficult to see two possession charges turning into any meaningful jail time. Of course, people are at the mercy of what legal representation they can afford, but still …

I really think there should be more discussion of the effects of the legal system on the lives of gay men. I know more than a few men who have a history with the legal system, all of it stemming from drug issues. I’m not excusing their choices, but I just find incarceration for nonviolent crimes to be a response that creates as many problems as it solves in a lot of cases, and certainly can damage people’s lives further than they already are.

agree moondoggy…keep good thoughts for Marshall…i think there are changes in all categories coming in a new era ushered in by the end of the so-called “Mayan Calendar” and the latest election. The old white guys are definitely circling the drain. They are trying to take us down with them, but we will survive and live in more enlightened times.
