Sean Cody has always had a bit of a variance of guys they are able to get. anyway, it’s pretty common practice when the ‘status quo’ is challenged. If you search back through comments on WB the extent of commentary (if any) was ‘he’s hot’ or ‘he’s not hot’ with a few exceptions. Then, peeps came on the scene and REALLY went in deep on scenes/studios/performers on a level that was not the ‘norm’, and like the saying goes those that can do, and those that can’t insult and name-call those that are making them feel all them big, bad feelings of insecurity and inferiority. Or something like that. ;-P

There is no dip in quality. There is an increase in quantity of performers returning, and that is the trade off with bareback sex. Clearly a number of the people who do solos don’t want to return for that, there is also the fact that a lot of these models are actually straight and can’t or won’t perform or return in any capacity.

I do think that people have a nostalgic memory of past times with SC.

Marshall was only around for like 4 months which means he prob went out to Cali to film twice. Brandon, Joshua, Calvin and Curtis come around now and again and they last had movies just last winter when there was a loud level of anger toward the Sean Cody product. The last few updates by Brandon brought on an onslaught of people complaining about him not bottoming an how boring he was as a top. I think that is where the spoiled commentary comes from. I think some people–not pointing fingers at anyone in particular–are a bit spoiled and don’t actually look back at how much better Sean Cody has gotten performance-wise and how the models from the past fluctuated week to week from stars to duds. When you go back through your hard-drives, you have the ability to focus on which videos you liked. You’re able to forget the fact that there was a crappy month of bad updates back in 2009 or whenever.
I do think Sean Cody can up their game. Model favorites don’t come back often enough: Ashton, Brandon, Dane, Calvin, Stu, etc. However, it’s not useful to offer nonconstructive feedback. My feedback…is there aren’t enough fan favorites on heavy rotation.
