My take on that is they’re bringing back proven talent that’s popular with the fans. Their new crop has been mostly hit or miss. The great looking guys like Will and Weston and so on haven’t returned to date. Andy is a great performer but some don’t care for his looks. Other guys like Damon are only marginally good looking.

I don’t blame them at all for bringing back people like Max and Travis and so on. They’re very popular and deservedly so. You go with what sells.

First of all, they would post that new update right after I pissed all over NDR. The pictures from that really do look pretty good, but pictures aren’t their problem as I said before. Let me share an anecdote from Family Dick that makes my point. Kristofer Weston, who to me is hotter than the sun, is in the shower. His “son” is in the next room and realizes his hot dad is on display. He starts rubbing his dick through his clothes and capturing the moment on his cell phone when Kris confronts him. When the kid swears the pictures were just for his own use, Kris gives him a seductive look and invites him into the shower. The kid then drops his trousers and after all that narrative buildup is as flaccid as an 80 year old man taking an ice bath. As hard as it is to cast, light, film, edit, and distribute porn for revenue, the one fucking thing that should be both free and blindingly obvious, they get wrong.

My point is there is a gulf between the people who fuck on camera because they are hungry to fuck, which usually happens in a room with a single laptop webcam and nothing else, and the expert producers of beautiful, well-lit, multicam scenes, who do it like they’re punching a time clock and don’t give a shit about seeing the finished product. It’s a devastating circumstance and I don’t know when it will be solved. Not every hot guy can work for CockyBoys. Rawstrokes sometimes has low picture quality. Rawfuckclub does too few creampies. Lucas E does NO creampies. And there’s one other company I’m trying to think of, Deviant Man I think is the name. Despite my issues with the companies I just named, I think those are the good ones. Plus Missionary Boyz, plus Family Dick about 20 percent of the time. That ia it, and Dave doesn’t clearly belong at any of those places. I think there are options for guys who don’t mind getting sleazy and aren’t in it for the money. That includes guys who go to GISP, ColbyKnox, etc. But I think established actors who are in it to make a living have almost no choice but to churn out mediocre scenes with the companies I didn’t name.

Cockyboys has great videography no doubt, but that as you said in an earlier post doesn’t translate to heat. I can’t think of a recent scene that has me wanting to see more of their movies. The last video I was excited to see from them was Mateo and Clark, the hottest one recently can’t think of, but i recently rewatched Justin and Adam’s video and that was pure heat. Since, Justin has worked for NDR and it seems he’s deeping his toes back in the water a scene with him and Dave would be amazing.

Rawstrokes/club doesn’t have much to offer. Same with Deviant,Colby etc. I don’t like watching people doing poppers and other things in my vids. Basically, the whole Treasure Island doesn’t do much, sometimes I see a model in a sleazier scene that will have me curious, that’s the only time i’ll look at those studios. GISP doesn’t even pique my interest anymore, they only try to make money off controversy and not quality porn. Not only that, but they update when they want to and doesn’t offer members an explanation , try to make up for those missing weeks of content or incentive to remain members. The new Beaux video puts an extra nail in that coffin. He hires models that are into race play and models who have no problems filming with those models.

Other than some insertion shots, there really was nothing to scream about here. The dicks were hard, but the heavy breathing and moaning made everything feel clinical. Dave had a slow start here. By the end he was really putting in better work. When he left, that continued. At Next Door Elye was playful, he had personality, he was chill and there was a spark in his eyes during his scenes. That spark was dimmed here. I think his return speaks to how we really don’t know what’s going on at these studios. As crappy as Corbin Fisher has been lately, Dave, Rowan, Travis, Barron and Max all came back after long absences. Elye had a spark at a studio where models accused one of the directors of being a violent asshole. Bryan Ockert would have models return after years away, and Solomon Aspen even got a tat of CM’s logo. When a model who seems to have his head on straight, leaves a studio, works elsewhere and comes back, that has to make you think the model had a good enough experience that he wanted to return. Elye certainly didn’t come back because of CF’s amazing roster, or because he wanted to fuck Pri, or to suck Jason Gibson’s toes. As much as Corbin Fisher gets wrong, it’s apparently not a dealbreaker for some of these guys. That’s pretty telling.

The bigger question is, with Dave back, can Evan be too far behind? Theirs was a love story for the ages.

Chi Chi reputedly once said that face, body, and cock are the trinity of porn and you only need two of the three to have a career. But there’s another trinity — the top, the bottom, and the director. (I’m including editing and camerawork in direction.) To make a scene with those three, one of them has to be exceptional, one has to be competent, and the third just has to get out of the way. Sean Cody was a director in the classic sense, so back in 2012, it almost didn’t matter who was in the scene as long as one was competent and one didn’t interfere. Rowan/Sheridan’s scene with Jarek was good IMO for that reason. But I think he always needs to be paired with someone who is going to light up the screen. If we could see him bottom for Manuel Skye at a good studio, you think the result would be dull? I think he’s more than good enough to be a cog in the wheel of many good scenes, but he needs a dominant partner. Unfortunately, I would make the same argument about Dave, so your review came as no surprise.

But my larger point is that I think their retirement would be a loss to the industry because the only thing they don’t have on their own is enough explosiveness to carry a scene alone. And in my “trinity,” they have been alone most of the time.

That didn’t change from her blackballed series when the premise is white men getting gangbanged by black men but the cover only mentioned the white men’s names. The subtle treatments were what deemed to be hurting black men because of yet another stereotyping. When people see a relatively big black model talked about it, they immediately jump on it because they see it as a vehicle.

Well… That director could possibly be one of the reasons why he returned. With Cameron gone, he’s now totally in charge of filming. Like most NDS scenes, I found Dave’s work there to be pretty boring. I’m glad he’s back ’cause lawd knows Corbin Fisher needs as much good models as possible. The whole “fun” vibe at NDS seems to be more like their social media game though. Every model seems to be uploading short clips and photos of them having fun on set like it’s a requirement, and then there are the interviews… so I find the whole fun environment a little dubious. No, they wouldn’t. They’ve gone out of their way NOT to show Elian’s tat. If they aren’t covering his up, and are instead choosing to act like it doesn’t exist, why would they treat Zane any differently?

If you like the guy and want him to return to porn, cool. But you thinking Corbin Fisher would welcome him with open arms is illogical. All the hairstyles in the world isn’t going to change that. I’m sure plenty of studios would be happy to have him. It ain’t happening here.

You’re right, when I commented about Zane I didn’t remember Elian’s tattoos. But the way Corbin Fisher is desperate, they will change the rules soon, unfortunately this site is almost breaking, they are accepting everything, including these two models that were on NDS, ActiveDuty and Bromo, something that has never happened before… anything can happen.

CF is desperate because it has few models, repeated scenes. This makes many studios break the rules (tattoos, actors from other studios…) it doesn’t make the Corbin Fisher bad, just easier to work with.

Zane Porter has long been one of my all-time favorite gay porn stars. Super attractive and always gave enthusiastic, inspired performances. With that being said, I really can’t see Corbin Fisher hiring him — not just because of the tats, but that his hair is quite long these days. I definitely prefer his earlier look.

He mentioned when he “retired” in 2016 that he was coming back at some point. I heard that he is homeless, or was at one point, and was living out of his car with his girlfriend and dog, have you heard anything about this? Well, it depends on what area you’re working in. I mean, thinking has evolved, and I’m sympathetic. If you want to work at a service station or mini-mart, in construction or behind the scenes in music or production, or something technical and where you don’t deal with customers or the public on a recurring basis, than the tattoos are probably ok. But if you are working in retail, or in a service industry, particularly for an employer with some brand or image consciousness, then perhaps you should have given a little thought to your future employment when you started decorating your body. I don’t really see bosses who look askance at too much body art as the problem here.
