Well friend, I’ve liked a lot of your posts in the past, but I must say I disagree there. For me, Dave, Holden and Andy are all solid and even Mason is looking pretty fuckable in that costume — the best I’ve ever seen him. I think just about everyone would agree that Patrick is the weakest link in that chain though.

Did you see it? The fucking looked very good and both performers seemed into it. My only problem is the lighting. There was nothing there to suggest he was retiring from the business (although he may have), it had everything to do with moving to a new city. Truth. Bringing Patrick back once again is definitely an early Halloween treat.

I never thought of a Holden/Luca comparison before, but you’re right about their potention not being fully explored. However, I think Holden’s got more to him than Luca. He makes more eye contact with his scene partner, he’s a better top, and I feel he’s more open to doing others things. I think he’ll just need more scenes to develop and learn how to really connect with his partners more. It’s sad though that we didn’t get more of Luca.

They were both kissing in their first scene. But unlike with Luca I don’t get the sense that it’s all Holden’s willing to give. There are several factors that have led to this point. I think a lot of it has to do with how times have changed with social media etc. Let’s be real, sex is not really the reason a lot of guys get into gay porn, it’s because they want money, attention/notoriety (fame), and their looks validated.

Porn is one of fastest/easier ways of achieving those things. However, because of social media, you can pass gay porn as an option to get these things, as you can now get instant recognition, validation, and make money off being an instagram model, youtube personality etc. The other part of the social media effect is that one used to be able to do porn and keep it separate or hidden from personal life. That’s not the case anymore. It’s not only way easier now for people in someone’s personal life to discover their porn work, but porn viewers want to know porn models real names and want to track them down by finding their personal social media accounts. I think this is one thing that has led to the lack of quality guys on once popular gay porn sites like CF, as you have people staying away from porn because they know they will not be able to keep it separate from their personal lives in these times.

Another contributor to the lack of quality models and production quality is due to all the free porn internet now provides. Pirate sites provide all the scenes from porn sites for free..Just like how people don’t really buy music anymore because they can get it free online these days, porn viewers are not buying memberships to porn sites like in the past. Viewers not buying memberships hurts the pockets of these porn sites. It impacts the money/budget they have to not only produce content, but to also pay models. The reality is I think we’re seeing the same rotation and quality of models on sites like Corbin Fisher declining as a result of sites no longer being able to afford and attract multiple good looking models like they once were able to do in the past.

Remember when NDS gave all those g4p models their own sites (Cody Cummings, Trystan Bull, Samuel O’Tool, Tommy DXXX, Rod Daily etc.)? They all completely vanished from gay porn during the rise of social media. The only NDS models still doing porn that had their own sites back then are Austin Wilde and Landon M (who went by Marcus Mojo back then). But also many of the favs from CF, SC etc. stopped returning once social media became big. CollegeDudes24/7 used to be one of my favorites sites. Good points and well thought out. I would also add the economy. Back about ten years ago, the state I live in (Michigan) had 15% unemployment. The rest of the union wasn’t up that high, but there was still massive unemployment everywhere. Now, it’s been at around 3% for quite awhile now. There just simply aren’t as many people looking for jobs — any kind of jobs, as there were in the past.

Patrick was previously on SC. That *may* have had something to do with it. A lot of people would say there’s always been a sort of competition between the two studios, so Corbin Fisher may have just wanted to snatch one of SC’s models just because. Lights! Is Corbin Fisher cutting back on electircity use now also? Scenes was not well lit at all. Unlike other scenes, I think they were called “after hours” which were very good.
disappointing. And the party prior to the scene, that’s the best Corbin Fisher could do. Simply sad.
