The downvote feature was in every way a bad idea. (Ironically, I would like to downvote it.) Who looked at this message board and thought, “What this needs is anonymous negativity.” I made a routine comment earlier today, and I literally scrolled down to see something at the bottom of the page, and five seconds later scrolled up and had two downvotes, I kid you not. It strikes me as petty and a little cowardly — if people have a criticism, they should take the time to articulate it under their names.
