Having no social media accounts for these websites is not unusual on these sites, because it creates an aura of mystery, but also stop the viewers from harassing the performers. To many individuals find it hard to separate the fantasy from reality. I think by having that clause must be hard to enforce though and its a double edge sword. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that porn is more about yearning and unfulfilled fantasies than maybe any other industry. I really can’t think of another example of where a consumer would approach a lay person (no pun intended — I mean as opposed to a professional like a lawyer or a psychiatrist) to fulfill emotional hunger. Other aspects of the entertainment industry perform a similar function, but without the baggage of shame. I’ll stop there because I’m really just yammering, but I did so because your comment interests me. It makes me sad for both parties when a porn performer becomes the emotional dumping ground for people who lack the maturity to recognize boundaries. I’m not a bleeding heart — I know it’s their responsibility to find that, but I also think most selfish or abusive people become so through a lot of factors beyond their control.

I had quite a few porn star encounters over the years, most of them in the mid 90s and mid 00s, but far fewer it sounds like than @disqus_chhSSLXRUr:disqus has in California. Some were just meet-and-greets at club events, some were chance social encounters, and a few hookups here and there (including two in a “professional” arrangement). On a related note, for many years, I cruised gym saunas. Generally, I found that the worst saunas for cruising were the ones in gay neighborhoods because if two queens go in there who know each other socially, it can turn into a hen party in no time, and suddenly no one is in the mood. Even if I’m not there to bust a nut, my attitude is “STFU.” A sauna is not a coffee bar. People go there for peace and quiet.

lol, only about 5 percent rambling, and it was still fun to read. I think that prior to the past five years, my expectations involved so-called straight acting tops. The bottoms could be whatever they wanted to be, particularly if they were playing the role of sub. I have massive respect for guys like Kevin Wiles, but I generally want to see him play the role he was typecast to play.
