There’s something inherently wrong with the implication that there’s a “greater community” which doesn’t include trans men and women, thereby making them part of a “lesser community.” And to insist the trans community hasn’t been doing their own hard work and is trying to glom onto the efforts or others is very dismissive and incorrect.
