SC needs to be “schooled” on why they aught not spotlight the skin color of Black performers when they can be SEEN in the photos and trailers. HBO recently aired a series celebrating the Black, Gay/Transgender, Ballroom Community entitled Legendary. The TV show, Pose, has educated us on this community. The House of Ebony was one of the competitors. The founder’s last name was Ebony, just as it is a name given to girls of color and the name of the Iconic magazine of inclusion founded in 1945.

Actually, I was talking about Ricky’s face. His body has never really been an issue. Facially though he isn’t what many people would typically consider as handsome. But of course there are people who think he is very attractive facially, because we all bring our own experiences, likes and even biases into the equation when we determine “beauty.” So for Phantom Pain to make a definitive statement to the tune of “I think Asher is average looking, therefore Deacon must feel the same, or he’s just married to him because he like Latinos” while floating around the web with Ricky Larkin as his avatar is comical.
