But the content was exclusive…when you bought it. It’s no different than buy a BluRay of a movie, and then that movie comes out on basic cable two years later. Are you going to complain that people are getting to see something you already own? It’s no different than the major studios selling a DVD of a movie, and those scenes end up at the studio’s site. Also remember CFS also had a bunch of scenes that were exclusive to the main site.
I bought probably 60 CFS scenes on the rare occasion when there was a sale. I wasn’t mad about the new release policy, because there were tons of scenes I didn’t buy and would like to see. If you factor the two CFS scenes per week into your membership fee, it basically is the equivalent of that ninety-nine cent sale CFS once had.

Except motion picture distribution has been in place for decades. You know what you’re getting yourself into.

CF never announced that all those 8 dollar scenes were going to be free with a membership in a few years when they released them. A huge difference.

It is different. I can’t speak for Alann when he mentions exclusive content – but for me it was exclusively available for an extra fee through CFS. So it’s not the idea that members don’t have to pay for it now – it’s the fact that old content that some have paid for separately is TAKING THE PLACE of new content members access twice a week. If the CFS re-releases were offered as bonus updates destined for members who didn’t pay to DL them when they were first offered that would be okay. It’s not spitefulness that makes those of us who paid for CFS exclusive content upset that it’s now on offer at ACM. It’s the idea that old content is being substituted for new content while we’re paying a monthly subscription for NEW content that we’re no longer seeing.

Further to the above, I see this happening at other sites, and perhaps it’s because they are suffering from file sharing, although it doesn’t seem more prevalent now than say three or four years ago, especially since all the Yahoo and Google groups have basically disappeared. Kink dot-com’s NK site has been rereleasing “Best of” scenes for the past 5 or 6 weeks, and has said there will be no new content until June, at which point the site will update twice a month, instead of weekly. So for those of us who paid a monthly subscription, that represents a loss in value without lowering the price. I’ve paid up in advance, but when my subscription finally expires, I won’t be re-upping.

Corbin Fisher currently releases between 4-5 new scenes a week. Old CFS content only comprises 2 days of the schedule: Tuesday and Friday. The rest of the schedule:

Sunday: Gay Hardcore
Monday: Solo/BJ
Wednesday: Straight Hardcore
Thursday: Gay Hardcore
Every Other Saturday: Bisexual Hardcore

The reason why they’re doing the CFS Tuesday/Friday releases is so they can say they release content 6-7 days a week. But these old CFS scenes are not replacing otherwise new content on ACM or ACS. The *OLD* ACM/ACS schedule was 4-5 new scenes a week:

Monday: Gay Hardcore
Tuesday: Solo/BJ (Rarely replaced by a hardcore bonus update)
Wednesday: Straight Hardcore
Thursday: Gay Hardcore
Every Other Week: Bisexual Hardcore

They release the same amount of new content now on the subscription site as they did before they killed the separate CFS site.

The only difference in the amount of new content they release is at CFS. New CFS releases were never part of a membership, and so they were never guaranteed to you. CFS used to release an extra gay hardcore scene every Friday. Now they don’t offer that scene. However, you would have had to pay extra for that scene (were it to still exist). So you may be losing the option to buy an extra scene. But you’re not actually losing money.

CFS has a tightened focus — to just do on-location/specialty shoots several times a year. It’s not a bad solution overall. The membership site still produces the same amount of content, but CFS produces fewer scenes that are available for purchase.
