I have an external hard drive that I was trying to declutter to make room for new stuff, and as I went through my Corbin Fisher files, I was amazed at how many I couldn’t part with. But all of them were from a while back, not within the last year. When you go through things in aggregate, you really see the quality differences. I think the last newbie that I liked was Allen, who didn’t stick around long. I also liked Taylor, who debuted not long before Allen. I haven’t found any new recruits from the past year that memorable.
Damn, Harper already has ANOTHER new scene, and that one looks better than this one.

I agree. To his credit, Henry is very active in his scenes. He reminds a little of Jon, who wasn’t all that well liked either. These days when Corbin Fisher releases another meh scene, I go to my hard drive where I keep all the old stuff. It is always easy to find something good there. Taylor and Tyler, the brothers did some good work. Unfortunately, Taylor got a little carried away with the huge ugly tatt on his back. They both disappeared shortly after that.
Wow, I didn’t even realize the Taylor/Tyler relation. (Despite my frequent posts, a lot gets past me!) I also didn’t know about the tattoo. Good riddance, then. I’m glad that the Corbin Fisher boys don’t as a rule have that impulse.
We could probably all say the same thing about missing stuff. In a way, it’s not so bad. It means we aren’t spending all of our lives watching porn! Collectively, there is a good lot of information about this flakey industry.
I kind of liked the “T” boys until Taylor showed up on an escort site and with the tatt, maybe it was just before he left CF, or maybe that was why he left Corbin Fisher. Don’t know if he was successful. Tyler was a star in the Costa Rica series where Tom and Jacob pounded him relentlessly. Can’t remember if that was a CFS scene (probably) so it might not yet have been released under the restructured (and flagging) Corbin Fisher website.
You only have one external drive? LOL Granted some of my drives are older and smaller but I probably have more than a dozen internal and external. (When ya collect every Corbin Fisher and Sean Cody scene produced it takes a lot of space!)
Speaking of the archives, surely I’m not the only person who watches a new scene, doesn’t see exactly what I want so I hit the old scenes which truly have the best stuff.
I had an external hard drive. Until a massive power surge fried it (a car ran into a light pole on my street) along with my CPU. I had years of Corbin Fisher & Sean Cody on it. Everything’s going into the cloud from now on.
Wow, such bad luck! Did you have a surge protector? I know they say sometimes a surge protector doesn’t completely protect you, but I have a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), or battery backup, so I’m hoping that might protect me. Cloud, or online, backup is a great solution, tho experts also recommend dual backup solutions, like Cloud AND on site backup. The on site backup could be used once a week and then disconnected in case there’s a power surge. Crash Plan or Mozy or Carbonite offer cheap, unlimited backup. The downside, however, is it takes such a long time initially to backup your entire system with the typical limited upload speed given by ISP’s.
Absolutely, everything was on surge protectors. But I think they only protect against a normal surge. This was pretty massive. All the lights were on super bright, two of my fans were totally fried as well. The power company had to come out and repair the damage because our house had only partial power after the initial surge. The local computer store diagnosed it and told me it would cost upwards around $400 to get the data off it, not counting the PC’s CPU. At the time, I couldn’t justify paying 4 times what the hard drive was worth, but I may yet pay it. I definitely have the worst luck.
Did you have any non-replaceable files lost? Data recovery is really spendy! Like I told moondoggy, fortunately for about $20-30 you can buy a month’s membership and replace all your lost videos but it is worth noting that the sites, on rare occasion, permanently remove particular models and their videos, without warning or explanation.
I think most recently, Corbin Fisher removed Clay & Wes’ videos about a year ago. Clay & Wes were introduced as real life friends. Clay appeared in scenes with other Corbin Fisher models but Wes only did two scenes, both with Clay. Anyway, Clay’s small town ended up finding out about his gay porn work and reportedly harassed Clay, driving him into a depression. Clay showed up at the restaurant where he worked with a gun and fired some shots but later took his own life.
OMG! That’s why I like chatting with you. You’re a deep well of knowledge of all things gay porn! But I hadn’t even heard about Clay; that’s so sad. But I don’t believe I had any files that are irreplaceable. But did I mention that this was the 2nd time I lost files? The first time was when my other PC died and I had no way of transferring the data. It was over 15 years ago, but I had videos with Mr. Sean Cody in them, the really old ones no longer on the site. I probably will get around to downloading them again, but as you know, it’s very time-consuming. Which is why I’m going back to cable internet, to be installed this coming Monday. At those speeds it should be relatively painless.

I have had hard drive issues a couple times and sometimes File Recovery software can help, like Recuva. It’s very simple to use and made by Piriform who also makes CCleaner.
Yeah, Sean Cody removed all the scenes he appeared in a long time ago but I think I still have them all. It’s a shame, too, as many were awesome scenes with guys like Zack, Luke & Adam.
I’ll keep that in mind. I do use CCleaner a lot so i def trust Piriform to make a good product. Meanwhile I have my eye on another external HDD but if I buy one, I’ll still be backing up to the cloud. Twice bitten, twice shy as they say…I think.
I managed to get the Clay scenes as well. And the Blake scenes that were recently removed. And a couple of scenes that were released by Corbin Fisher with obvious fake fucking until noticed on the blogs, after which Corbin Fisher replaced them with edited versions, eg. Colt fucking Truman, where Colt’s dick was clearly nowhere near Truman’s hole in the first release.
I recommend saving scenes on removable drives away from the computer so you’ll always have scenes separate. But be sure to check them. I’ve had drives go, but fortunately saved scenes. It might be a good idea to keep two copies on separate drives. You can use something like FreeFileSync to compare content of drives quickly.
I have two drives, but all of the content is the same on both. I’m trying to be realistic about how much porn I’ll actually go back to. Would be fun to compare lists of scenes that people consider permanent heavy rotation, but public boards are very limiting. Does Disqus have a private message function?
Oh ok, sounds like you have a backup. That’s a great idea. Unfortunately, I have too much porn to back it all up but for the most part, one can just pay the $20-30 for a month’s membership and replace any porn that you lose tho it would be a daunting project taking hours, if not days, of work.
Surprisingly, over the years that I’ve been collecting, I end up going back to scenes that at first didn’t interest me all that much and liking them quite a bit and feeling glad that I saved them.

I have about 6 drives with scenes on them. I’ve had a couple drives die on me. One had all my fave CM scenes. I moved them all over quick smart to a new drive, which can take a few hours, depending on whether you have USB3 ports or not. Usually drives don’t go quickly. Often you’ll find that your player can read a scene file that it used to, as an indication of something going wrong. It’s a good idea to check files randomly for signs of deterioration and move everything to a new drive ASAP if you find any problems.
That scene where Tom used Smith was one of CF’s best ever. I also like the one where Tom did the same with Drake. I actually watched that one last weekend when the new stuff was doing nothing for moi.

Let me put aside my extreme negativity for a moment…I haven’t been around enough, so I need your input. Do you think it’s possible that they hired him for a set amount of time & a set number of scenes? If it’s a ‘package’ deal, it may be cheaper per scene on average (i.e. hiring Henry is ‘cost effective’)
IDK how porn contracts work but probably. If they are employing him out of pure desperation despite of the negative backlash then they are jackasses.
As I remarked elsewhere, I’m not a huge Harper cheerleader by any means. There’s plenty of those here so he doesn’t need my help. But I think the reason this scene is the best Henry has done is mostly because of Harper. At the moment I can’t compare this scene to other great ones in the past, but this scene was definitely HOT and a winner. Those who hate Henry and refuse to watch his scenes will just miss out but there’s about 2 thousand other ACM scenes and that’s not counting ACS or CFS.
