That beef was one of the best. I also loved the Shady Records vs Murda Inc beef.

I liked Drake from 2006-2011, but he has gotten so cocky over the past couple of years. I mean yeah he’s running the game, but IMO he’s just thi generations Nelly. His yellow ass needs to put some respeck on Jay’s name.

The beef originally started with just 50 Cent and Ja Rule in 2001, but everybody from both teams got dragged into it once 50 signed his deal with Shady/Aftermath/Interscope. It was straight savage what Eminem did to them, i kinda felt bad, but not that bad because i was/is a HUGE Eminem fan.

I never considered Nelly a Hip-Hop artist, inspired by yes but did not really contribute to the medium. Most his music sounded like Pop to me. Like Avril Lavigne, you can hear the influences but you never find anyone say, “I got into Hard Rock because of her music.”
