We’re having a discussion on the BA forum about what the hell twinks are. So i’m asking out of curiosity not to give you a hard time. What do you see in these three guys that is “twinkish”. Cause i honestly don’t see any of these as twinks. You could make an argument for Julien, but Alex? The guy has to be somewhere around thirty (he looks great for his age, but he can’t pass for 18 anymore). And florian doesn’t seems way too built to be a twink.
Is it just the lack of chest hair or beard that makes one a twink? Cause in that case Tom Cruise would be clasified as a twink. Would Jake Cruise be a twink if he shved his chest hair? Obviously Bel Ami has done something to deserve its reputation as a twink site. It can’t be mass delusion, but i honestly don’t see it.

Insipid, I like the question, even though you weren’t posing it at me. I think a twink has to be relatively smooth (smooth enough that if they replied to a personals ad that said “prefer smooth,” the other guy wouldn’t be offended), under 30 (though when *I* was under 30, the standard was prob. under 25), and boyish in looks and/or demeanor. Chaosmen’s Taylor could shave every hair off his body and not be a twink to me because he’s too muscular and too dominant.

I generally dislike twinks sexually, but will tolerate watching them bottom. Lukas Ridgeston (whom I loved) was never a twink to me, but anyone who was slimmer than he was could pass for one if smooth and under 25ish.

As for this update, I love Alex, but am surprised to see how much his face is showing his age here. I generally prefer 2way to 3way with Bel Ami.

I guess if you use that definition they could all, with the exception of Luke, qualify as twinks. With my personal definition, none of them would. I think that to qualify as a twink you have to have a very slight build- Andre Boleyn and Kevin Warhol would probably make it. I never really thought of BA as a twink site, though i must admit it has the rep. So maybe i’m wrong. Either way i love the site.

As far as Andre goes. Perhaps his age shows more to you because you aren’t a regular subscriber. If you see a person once when he’s young and then see him a decade later, he’ll seem to of aged a lot more to you then if you see him every day over the course of a decade.

@Insipid, I have to agree with Duroy. Hot guys in gay porn whether gay or g4p seem to come in waves. I agree with you Johnny that Waybig often does a poor job representing what’s on the BA site. If you were to look only at Waybig’s update you’d think that BA was mostly a pictorial site, instead of a site that offers 3 sex scenes every week. I suspect that they’re catering to Corbin Fisher who updates with them 5 days a week rather than 3 or 4 times a month.

That being said, this scene is a scorching hot one. This is much more representative of BA than the couples pictorials they’ve been showing.
