Well, both Samuel and Ajay were gay (and Ajay was ALWAYS into his scene partners). Now, Sam and Patrick might be the better example. Patrick was sold as “confused”. IIRC, he rarely kissed and usually let the other guy do most of the work. Samuel seemed to bring something out in him.
